![]() 5x7 image on a 8x10.) If Affinity or someone has figured this out, would appreciate the feedback. Print your return to work signage, posters, floor stickers, leaflets and other information through the University Print Studio. The only hangup I can see at this point is that the Affinity part of the Print setup offers only a Fit type/Size (percentage) option if you are needing to change the image size on the paper size you are printing to, (i.e. On the Main panel is also an option to select and print Pattern prints, which gives you a chance to run a test sheet so you can fine tune your setup. Having seriously considered all things and using the above steps, I have printed from Affinity Photo using ICC profiles. Click that, choose ICC Profile Matching, which opens up all the paper profiles you have installed, including the Canon papers. Two options there, select Manual, that opens a subpanel, at the top you will see a Matching tab. In the middle of the Main panel you will see the Color Intensity box. To use ICC profiles, first of all go to Settings (for the driver), then go to the Main tab while in the Canon driver as you're setting up to print. However, I have found that if you install the Canon driver, you can do nearly everything that PSP offers. Just unfortunate that neither Canon or Affinity wants to emulate PSP for printing from AP. I too print to a Canon PRO-100 and have enjoyed the Canon Print Studio Pro plugin for its convenience. In the end I just ran out of time to experiment. If you try GIMP, be aware it is very much destructive editing with only one set back available if you make an error!.ĭxO rendered my files clearer with reduced noise and with Affinity would have been my proffered workflow if DxO supported Fuji and Affinity or DxO would print reliably. At the moment I very occasionally use GIMP (free download) if I need a bit more layer work. You can also save scanned images, attach them to e-mail or edit/print them. Using MP Navigator EX you can scan multiple documents at one time, or scan images larger than the platen. You can also edit images, or attach images to e-mail. ![]() I have purchased ON1 which seems to print well. This application software allows you to scan, save and print photos and documents. Also the prints from Affinity had a red / magenta cast but were accurate when printed through LR with the Canon plugin. I had expected to see a difference but did not hence concluded that the ICC had no impact. (In my case Permajet Oyster and canon MATT). My test was to print the same image on the same paper, once using the correct ICC and once using an ICC for a very different paper. If you are on a MAC then the Canon driver may allow you specify the ICC, but in W10 I got nowhere. For that reason I did not purchase Affinity at the end of the trial. I was unable to find a way of using an ICC profile with Affinity and my Canon Pr0-10s.
